Todays word is phoneme. A phoneme is a member of the set of the smallest units of speech that serve to distinguish one sound from another in a language or dialect

I have found that there are many words that are definitely worth recognizing. if you look around you there are hundreds of words that are really fun to say. Many of these words are scientific words like Upper labiel frenulum.  if you we used only scientific names for everything then we would find so many fun words.

an umbo is a small bump in the top of a mushroom or the bump in your ear just above your ear lobe. An umbo can also be a bump in the tympanic membrane of the ear or the boss of a shield, or one of the lateral prominences just above the hinge of a bivalve shell
